There's always that one point in your life that makes you reevaluate everything...

Hello dear potential readers

I'm back and this time I'm determined to do this for more than a day and then give up, to you this I promise.

I have recently had a very minor health scare (like on a scale of 1 to 10 it's like a 2), but it has been one of those situations that has had to make me really take a good hard look at myself.

I have spent the last 29 and a half years only thinking about the now and not really about the future which has lead to some poor decision making and definitely poor planning for my hopefully long and prosperous life.

The issue with my health has spiralled out of this disregard to acknowledge that what I am doing to my body isn't probably the best and luckily we were able to catch it early before it became an actual thing.

So now it's time to stand up, take responsibility and tackle this head on.

I thought I would use my rarely thought about (and probably rarely read) blog to keep myself accountable and also as a distraction from the formerly bad habits (in my opinion, for some people it's just a Tuesday) that I dabble in.

So watch this space for a new and improved Sunny!

I'm a bad bad blogger..

I'm so sorry to my maybe 2 readers that I have been so absent.

However, I have achieved the following
* moved out of our house sitting abode
* moved into our new rental place which is super close to work!
* went SKYDIVING!

I will start blogging more often so please don't get disheartened and stop reading.

Where has November gone...

and more importantly where the heck has 2014 gone.

I kid you not, it feel like yesterday I had a holiday and that was in February!

November is supposed to be the month where I get to start focussing on my life outside of work and only be at work my allocated 37.5 hours a week.  However, this has not been the case.

It didn't help that I was struck fown by this weird flu hybrid for the first 4 days of November, I sat in my filthy tracksuit pants on my lounge for the Melbourne Cup.  It makes for a much more boring race however, I will still able to pick up a first in my office's sweep!

I also went to Manly for a function and got a cute snap of the bridge on the way home. I will blog about the function in a future post.

I also did a push up on a planking human.  However, I feel bad because I have been so sick my workouts have been at about 20% of normal because I break into a coughing fit when I have to walk briskly up a steep incline.

Don't want to overwhelm everyone on my third posting so I will leave it at that.  All i know is that I am trying to get more organised so that I can do multiple posts in a week but after being in front of a computer screen for 10+ hours the last thing I feel like doing when I get home is firing up the laptop.

I just wanted to let everyone know I have a new instagram, please following me @seeingthesunnierside

It's typical

I start a blog and then I get busy as all heck at work and then get laid up for 4 days with the dreaded flu.

It's nearly summer and I'm currently wrapped in a blanket on my lounge watching old episodes of anything I can get my hands on.

I just wanted to thank those who welcomed me so warmly, I hope that I don't dissapoint with my absence.

I will hopefully be fighting fit come the weekend and so will have many stories to come.....

Introducing me!

Welcome to seeing the sunnier side, a blog with no purpose but to be an outlet for a twenty-something professional who spends way too much time at work.

It will be a mix of work, play and lifestyle related musings...

Hopefully my next post will be more interesting that this one.
